A new look

Oh boy, I started to give the blog a whole new look
I got tired of having the original layout,
so now I began redisgning it
first I made it into a 3 three column layout
that way I can have more space

I need now to work in the graphics
only white is NOT for me

Well, we'll see what I can come up with

Just Some Ramplings

I feel like a very bad blogger,
I'm not updating this blog daily as I first entended, but I'm just can't,
I don't feel up to writting much, I'm not up to anything much these days.
I'll get started on a new one today, god willing.

Remember I said I'll make some layouts about my trip to Istanbul,
I did, they will be my next post, I also made a LO for my mom and another for another baby neice (Not Dania this time)

I keep following the number of downloads of my previous kits, and from what I see, the most downloaded are Kit # 1 and Kit # 3
they are the No Parts kits, I think I must remember that when doing another one, people prefer to download just one file to get the whole kit, and size does matter.

Also the idea of Mini kits is quite appealling to me these day, I mean I share my kits in Yahoo groups, and most of them use scrap kits to design tags, so they don't really need the huge sizes.
I think I'm over thinking everything LOL

About my trip to Istanbul and some rampling

Ok, I just realized I did not write anything about my trip to Istanbul, Turkey. I really enjoyed it, its such a nice country, the weather was almost the same as the one we have in Egypt, and I really enjoyed the sights there.

I already started on editing some of the pictures I took there, they were not as much as I planned, about 300 , which is too few if you know me when I hold a camera, but i was busy enjoying myself to remember to take pictures.

I'm already making some layouts using the pictures, and I have to remember to scan some from the books I got too, they will be nice to use to add extra info on the places I went to as well.

My DSL is supposed to be activated this week, I can't wait for that, I can't get enough time to post here while at work.

Why did I not go NoMail in my Yahoo tube groups while in vacation????????? I have about 3 GB of mail in several Gmail accounts waiting to be downloaded, with no DSL to download them :( , why did I do this to myself, the silly thing is, I can't get myself to delete any of them without first seeing them, so I have to wait for my DSL, D/L the mail, then hit delete on the ones I don't want, Greed will kill me.

I got some nice comments on my work, which I really enjoyed, and the number of downloads is great, I think thats why I prefer 4shared to anyother share site, I get the chance to see the number of downloads of each kit in the same page which gives me a hint on what i did good and what not, and considering the number of days the kit is out there I'd say Kit # 2 was not well liked.

Anyway, I'll try to finish the pictures and the layouts soon, and I'll post them here, I also have several other pictures to play with, those of Layal and Dania to scrap, I just need to either find or create a kit suitable for baby girls.

I'm off to Turkey for a week *Jump up and down*
Yesterday was NOT a good day, in fact its one of the worset days of my life, I really don't want to think about it, I'm in no mood to cry, I must think happy thoughts, I'm actually going to Turkey for a week, The plane takes off at 9 AM from Cairo on Friday June 16th, so we leave Alexandria around 3,30 AM, to be in the airport in time.

Today I have to get a bigger memory card for my Camera, I hope it works well, its not a great camera, I confused optical zoom with digital zoom when I bought it, so its a 5Mega Pixel with no optical Zoom :((( , I hope it works OK.

I'll try to post the new kit I'm working on before I go, its nearly done, I'll work on it after going back home, I'll go out with my friend and her two sons today, I love those 2 boys, they are adorable, they really can change my mood, at least I hope so.

Also I must remember to inform my Yahoo Groups that I'll be off for a week too.

Another new day and no DSL at home, I hate that, but so far it looks like by wednesday we'll get the phoneline installed then I get to request DSL, the new place has no network wires, I'm thinking of getting a wireless router but I'm still not sure it will work with my PC.

being board means I get lots of time to play with PSP, I already started a new kit, this time its a pink one, how I love to see the download counter go up on each kit, it make me feel really good, I love the notes I get from people thanking me for it too, the graphic community have been very good to me, its my outlet when I feel sad, I just start reading mail and I completely forget what I was sad about.

I feel very lonely these days, no one to care for, no one who cares for me, my parenets do of course, but its not the kind of caring I'm looking for.

Today I'll get the confirmation about my trip to Turkey, I hope it works out, if it did I'll leave Friday, the 16th of June, but if it didn't then I'll have to try organizing it again next year, as time will not permit again this summer.

Yesterday I went to the club with my friend and her son, we were at the playground, and there I met my aunt, my cousin and her little daughter, it was fun, I played with the little girl for sometime, got some pictures of her taken, and even had mine taken with my friend, her son took it, He is 5 years old, so it was a bit off, I need to work on it a bit, but I think its nice.

Again I just rampled about everything,
Do you think its normal to write so much when you don't have anything to write about??

I have no reason to really start bloging,
I gave the link to no one,
I just wanted a place to keep sort of a dairy,
also to keep track of all the scrap stuff I'm making.

I started scraping in May 2006, thats about 5 weeks ago,
but it started to appeal to me, as I have mentioned before, I gave up on taging a while ago, at first I tried to do some layouts like the amazing LO I see in galleries and in the groups I joined, but I had the most silly problem that can face anyone, I had nothing to scrap LOL

I love taking pictures, but its usually of places, not people, and I have no children, and for the time being I'm single, no one in my life except my parents and my sisters, so nothing to really temp me, so I decided to learn to make the kits used in scrapbooking, I'm not good yet but I'm planning on getting there, so far I draw everything from scratch, or using selections or dinbats, and I use tons of filters to get the right effect.

I use Paint shop pro 9, even though I have PSPX installed, I prefer 9 because of the browsing ease in it (in my opinioin), I also have photoshop, but I'm by no means an expert in it.

I'm really way new to this blogging stuff, if I said that I searched everywhere just to find out how to add a links section to this rampling of mine, no one would believe me, but i found it as you can see, now I just need to put some links there :0))

New Scrap Kit # 2

We moved to the new house on Thursday,
the new place is nice, but so far we don't have an Internet connection,we don't even have a phone line yet, but it will probably be installed this week, I miss my mail so much.

Having no DSL meant I got loads of just play time so I made this kit

Well, I don't really know what made me do this,
I've never been good in comunication, especially through writing,
but I just felt like it,
Anyway, I think I must introduce myself first,
My Name is Sherin, I'm 32 (it feels old), from Alexandria, Egypt.

I love playing with my computer, I use PSP and Photoshop, but I'm not an expert, I tend to play alot, thats all.

I belong to lots of Yahoo groups, I used to make tags (Never animated, I dont like them), but I just felt burnt out a year and a half ago, so I stopped, just about a month ago, I discovered Scrapbooking, and it was love at first sight, LOL

I'm not really good at it yet, and so far I've been trying to design and make my own elements, more than work on layouts, but I guess I have my own reasons.

I started to this blog to post all the kits I make, also all my layouts, I already have one kit completed and posted in my 4shared acount, I'll post a previw and a link to it here as well.

enough rambling for now, I need to go and try to finish the kit I'm working on.
